Had so much fun live painting at ASU Tempe Campus. Was my first time sharing my intuitive art painting process with the world. Now I’m sharing it with you all here in this video. I hope you enjoy!

Magic is a mindset. ~ Kammie K.

On Jan. 29, 2016 I had a solo show at Sutra Midtown Yoga in Phoenix. I wanted to create pieces that really resonated with the fantastic spirit of the Sutra tribe as well as speak to yogi’s, urban buddha’s, zen mama’s and enlightened fellas. Four of 8 new works from this Kiss My Bliss Collection have SOLD to Sutra community members (and a fan who saw me post on Instagram) and I’m so grateful these new creations speak to people & bring them good vibes & joy.

The desire to create is one of the deepest yearnings of the human soul. ~ Elder Uchtdorf

2016 ushered in a whole new wave of creative energy. These new works embody a bold energy and a punchy color pallete. I’m showing at Sutra Midtown Yoga in Phoenix, on Jan. 29, so I wanted to create a few pieces that really resonate with the fantastic spirit of the Sutra tribe as well as speak to yogi’s, urban buddha’s, zen mama’s and enlightened fellas. I hope I’ve accomplished that with this series called Kiss My Bliss.

It’s good as an artist to always remember to see things in a new, weird way. ~ Tim Burton

New works from 2015 after taking Flora Bowley’s Bloom True e-course. I learned so many wonderful new techniques in her course. How to create rich layers and depth and texture. How to use fluid acrylics to create drips, transparency and about the use of contrast and that sometimes you just need to “let go”. I’m working on getting these available for purchase as gifts on products in multiple formats, including cosmetics bags, keychains, greeting cards, journals, pillows and prints. Visit my shop for current inventory and availability!

The creative process is a process of surrender, not control. ~ Julia Cameron

These are my first four bodacious babes. Near the end of 2012, I had the desire to begin painting & drawing. Since then I’ve taken courses and workshops to learn new techniques and to discover what untapped inspiration might be there lurking under the fear. Creating art has been the scariest and the most liberating thing I’ve done.
